Front Swing Spiral Welded Pipe Mill
The steel coils are unfolded and leveled by the mill equipment. And they are sent to the forming machine in a certain angle. Supplemented by a certain angle, the continual pipes are formed in the principle of three-roll rolling machine. Continual spiral welding is welded by submerged-arc welding machine. When the uncoiling, coil detaching, leveling, steel cutting and welding are working, the host machine needs to stop and wait. After the steel welding finishing, the host machine starts to work again. The front-swing spiral welded pipe mill adopts intermittent production method with advantages such as low investment, and simple convenient.
According to the different function of our products, the front swing spiral welded pipe mills are divides in to API model and standard model. API model mainly produces the delivery pipe with petroleum or natural gas (long distance). The material and quality of the steel pipe need to be very good. The requirements for mill equipment and testing equipment also are very high. The standard model produces the pipe used for short distance delivery of natural gas or water, the pipeline construction in the city, the structure pipe, column pipe and so on. A. Forming Machine Automatic Adjustment System
The adjustment of the molding machine adopts database and computer automatic control technology. When changing specifications, it is necessary to adjust the front axle angle, the six-component roller angle, the six-group roller position, and the welding pad roller angle. The previous adjustment work was done by experienced workers, basically relying on workers' experience. In this way, it is easy to adjust improperly, resulting in more waste pipes, and a relatively large workload, which is very cumbersome. The angle and position of the front axle of the unit and the forming machine to be adjusted are controlled by the encoder. And according to the theoretical data in advance, a complete database has been established. When producing a certain specification of steel pipe, you only need to input parameters such as width, pipe diameter, and thickness on the computer, and all parts will reach the correct position by themselves and start production directly. This reduces adjustment work, reduces dependence on workers, and reduces waste steel pipes.
B. Uncoiler Automatic Centering
The uncoiler console of this unit is equipped with an "alignment" button. When this button is pressed, the double column head of the uncoiler will automatically align with the center line. In this way, the edge of the steel plate going in will be consistent with the center line of the unit, without adjusting the vertical roll. Improve production efficiency and reduce instability in the production process.
